Historic Downtown Mystic offers many great shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlors to visit. Make sure to stop at Mystic Pizza, and see all the movie memoriabilia. There is also a great book store and natural foods store. Down by the dock are various charter companies offering different sails out on the water.

The Mystic Seaport is also a great place to visit. If you aren't familiar the Seaport it is a replica of a eightteenth century fishing village, including print shop, blacksmith, and tall ships.
